ਜੰਮੂ ਵਿਚ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਦੋ ਰੁੜ੍ਹੇ, ਅਲਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ

ਜੰਮੂ, 29 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਜੰਮੂ ਵਿਚ ਆਏ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਰੁੜ੍ਹ ਗਏ ਜਦਕਿ 14 ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਦੇ ਕਠੂਆ, ਰਿਆਸੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਦਰਿਆ ਕੰਢਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਸੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਲਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੱਥਰ-ਮਿੱਟੀ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੰਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰੀ ਮੀਂਹ ਕਾਰਨ ਚਨਾਬ, ਤਵੀ, ਈਕ, ਉਝ, ਅੰਜ ਤਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰਾ ਤੇ ਬੱਗੋ ਨਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਬ ਡਿਵੀਜ਼ਨਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟਰੇਟ, ਅਖਨੂਰ ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚਨਾਬ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਵਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਖਤਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਰ ਵਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੇ ਢੁਕਵੇਂ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਹੌਰੀ ਤਹਿਸੀਲ ਵਿਚ ਆਏ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਰੀਕ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਵਹਾਅ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਜਦਕਿ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਜਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾ ਬੱਗੋ ਨਾਲੇ 'ਚ 60 ਸਾਲਾ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੁੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ। ਫੌਜ ਤੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਚਾਰ ਜਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ।ਭੁਬਨੇਸ਼ਵਰ: ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੀਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਸ ਰਹੇ ਉੜੀਸਾ 'ਚ ਭਰਵੇਂ ਮੀਂਹ ਨੇ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਫਸਲ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਆਸਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਰਝਾਏ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਰੌਣਕ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਮੋਦਰ ਰਾਊਤ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ-ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਰਾਜ ਭਰ 'ਚ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਪਏ ਮੀਂਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਫਸਲ ਚੰਗੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਜਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸੋਕੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਈ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਰਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਰਾਜ ਦੇ

K T S Tulsi switches sides in Sohrabuddin case, is now CBI lawyer

Had withdrawn from the case after Modi justified the encounter in poll speeches Senior Supreme Court advocate K T S Tulsi will appear for the CBI in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case.Tulsi was incidentally the Gujarat government's counsel in the Sohrabuddin case, but had withdrawn from it in December 2007 after Chief Minister Narendra Modi justified Sohrabuddin's encounter in his speeches during campaign for Assembly polls.
